I had never tried Cellucor before but decided to after a friend recommended it. I've got to say, this is some of the best protein powder I've ever had. I got the Red Velvet Cake because I love red velvet - not too sweet, not too rich. The consistency was super thick, but I wonder if it's intentional to make it like cake batter? Either way, you could thin it out or thicken it to your likely. I'm looking forward to playing with some baking options for this, and to trying other flavors.

I had the chocolate drink and was pleasantly surprised by how good it tasted. I drank it after my work-out before dinner, and it filled me up so well, I wasn't even hungry for dinner! it had a smooth flavor without the grittiness of most protein drinks.

The chocolate was not intense, which I like. It did have a little bit of the Stevia flavor, but I was expecting that. At least it's a natural sweetener, in line with the organic nature of this drink. Bravo for producing an all-natural product. I'm ordering the variety pack to try out the other flavors.

 I'm pretty picky when it comes to the taste of protein shakes: most taste pretty yucky to me, and often leave a sort of metallic after-taste. But not Svelte! Definitely the most delicious shake I've ever had. I've had all of the flavors, and while I like them all (honestly, they're all delicious) the cappuccino flavor is to die for. Also, I'm celiac, so I really appreciate that these drinks are gluten free. Every once in a while there can be stomach uneasiness, but I think it's because either of my sensitive stomach or the coffee. So if you're celiac and have a sensitive stomach, just be aware. I still drink them anyway, though, just not every single day.

Anyway, unlike many other protein drinks I've tried, these actually keep me full for long periods of time. So it's great if you're running short on time and need something that can carry you for a little while.

All in all, I would recommend these protein shakes. I've been drinking them once or twice a week since December 2012, and I've been very happy.
